People's Public Security Inspectorate urged to well perform core missions

PSNews - The People's Public Security Inspectorate on January 19 in Hanoi held a conference to review work performances in 2017 and to roll out its key tasks in 2018.

The event was attended by Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security, and chaired by Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Luu, Chief of the People's Public Security Inspectorate.

In 2017, the People's Public Security Inspectorate made good forecasts of the situation, actively advised the Ministry of Public Security leaders to conduct many administrative and professional inspections, focusing on key areas of public concern.

Based on the inspections, the sector suggested leaders of the ministry to reward units and individuals with good working results. 

At the same time, it discovered loopholes and shortcomings of organizations and individuals in their task performances, and promptly propose measures to rectify the weaknesses and improve the quality and efficiency of the inspected fields.

The People's Public Security Inspectorate also well performed its core function of advising the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Steering Committee for Anti-corruption to give their subordinate agencies and units instructions on measures to prevent corruption and negative issues within the forces.

Addressing the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh praised the People's Public Security Inspectorate for its achievements in recent times and pointed out some shortcomings in performing set tasks.
