People’s Public Security Political Academy and the Lao Political Theory School sign coordinating regulations

Major General, Prof. Dr. Truong Giang Long, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Public Security Forces, Director of the People’s Public Security Political Academy hosted the ceremony. The Lao side included Colonel Keo U Don, Deputy Head of the Representative Office of the Lao Ministry of Public Security in Vietnam and Senior Colonel, Dr. Vi Lay Phet Mi Xay, Principal of the Political Theory School under the Lao Ministry of Security.

According to the newly signed coordinating regulations, the two units will coordinate with each other in several areas from education and training, scientific research, documentation and information to personnel training and other relevant activities.

Every year, the two sides will exchange visits at the institutional level to discuss cooperation activities and exchange experiences in improving quality of education and training, building and organizing training programs; boosting scientific research, managing documentation, compiling new textbooks and training materials, and operating and exploiting library effectively.

All coordination activities between the two sides will be conducted in line with agreements between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the Ministry of Public Security of Laos, contributing to promoting special unity, friendship and traditional  cooperation between two countries.
