People’s Security Academy: Opening ceremony of 2016-2017 academic year

Delivering the Opening Speech, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Ngoc, Director of PSA, welcomed and congratulated hundreds of D48 students.

Students of the PSA have the right to be proud to study, train and research at the academy – a top training and scientific research center of Public Security Forces with 70 years of development.

Speaking at the event, Minister To Lam noted and appreciated efforts by teachers, members of staff and students of the PSA as well as their achievements in various areas in the last academic year.

He also agreed on plans and orientations for new academic year proposed by the PSA.

Minister Lam also asked for further comprehensive renovation of the Academy with main priorities given to research of the Party’s education guidelines.

It is necessary to renovate and perfect education and training programs, teaching methods, etc.

Mr. Lam awarded Military Exploit Order by State President.

Congratulating all PSA’s students, especially the new D48 ones, Minister To Lam stressed the honor to study and train in the Academy.

On this occasion, the PSA got the honor to be awarded the First-class Military Exploit Order by State President.
