People's Security Academy deploys charitable event in Northwestern areas

PSNews - From January 7th - 9th, the People's Public Security Academy held a charitable event themed "Toward people in Northwest" in Tam Duong and Phong Tho districts, Lai Chau. Such noble activities conducted by the academy’s staff and students uphold the Vietnamese tradition “The good leaves cover the ripped ones” and promote "All people protecting National security" movement at the grassroots level. 

In Tam Duong district, the charity mission visited and presented gifts to people in Ban Bo and Ta Leng communes, two extremely poor communes; presented books, clothes and blankets to Phieng Hoi and Co Not Mong villages (Ban Bo commune) and students at Ta Leng secondary and high schools.

In Phong Tho, the charity mission presented 150 blankets, 150 mosquito nets, 185 jackets, 1,000 notebooks totally worth 100 million VND. The team also visited the Tam Duong and Phong Tho District Police Offices and presented gifts, encouraging officers and soldiers working in the remote areas.

On this occasion, the C500 Charity Club of the People's Public Security Academy held a charitable event themed "Warm winter 2016" in Khuon Ke hamlet, Tan Son commune, Luc Ngan district, Bac Giang, and presented 50 packs of gifts (worth 350,000 VND/ pack) to 50 needy households and 3 packs of gift (worth 600,000 VND/pack) to needy elderly people.

Besides, the C500 Charity Club also organized a cultural exchange program with the Tan Son Commune Youth Union organization in order to strengthen ties between the Public Security Forces and basic organizations.
