PSNews – In the operation to launch a large-scale raid on the safe haven of a large group of dangerous drug-related criminals in Long Luong commune, Van Ho district, Son La province, the participating police forces found 3 dead bodies still holding guns in their hands and many rounds of various kinds around.

The professional force of the Ministry of Public Security and the Son La Provincial Police on the afternoon of June 29 finally approached the house of the drug trafficking baron named Nguyen Thanh Tuan in Ta De Village, Long Luong Commune, Van Ho District, Son La Province after a long fierce fire exchange.

Previously, under the directions of leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, more than 300 officers and soldiers of 11 relevant units organized a three-layer siege and attacked the two houses of red-wanted fugitives Nguyen Thanh Tuan and Nguyen Van Thuan in Ta De Village.

The houses of the two drug barons were built solidly with an underground tunnel like a strong bunker, which stored a large amount of military weapons, mines, gasoline, and gas cylinders with the aim of fighting back the police force.

When attacking Tuan’s house, the police force found 3 dead bodies still holding guns in their hands. The police also seized many other military guns, bullets and grenade casings.

Earlier, on June 26, the professional force of the Ministry of Public Security and the Son La Provincial Police besieged and arrested dangerous fugitive Nguyen Thanh Tuan (aged 35, permanent resident of Thach That District, Hanoi City) and suspect Nguyen Van Thuan (aged 34, known as Thuan Chuot, permanent resident of Thanh Liem District, Ha Nam Province).

Nguyen Thanh Tuan is an especially dangerous fugitive with 4 red-wanted warrants for illegal drug trading and illegal possession of military weapons while Nguyen Van Thuan is also a red-wanted fugitive for illegal drug trading.

Although the police spent much time persuading the drug traffickers to give themselves up to the police for the leniency of the law, the drug lords refused and used weapons to fight back the participating forces fiercely.

At the latest, the police force annihilated the two drug barons, arrested 3 other suspects; seized 3 grenades, 4 military guns, 415 bullets, many shells of bullets, and other exhibits of the case.
