Police forces involves in rescuing sinking fishing vessel in Danang

PSNews – Dozens of police officers of the Danang Municipal Firefighting and Rescue Police Department on July 2 were deployed to Man Quang Bay, Danang city to rescue a sinking vessel.

The incident occurred at 8h July 2, when fishermen in Man Quang Bay, Danang city discovered that the fishing vessel, numbered ĐNa 90266 of Mr. Le Van Xi (50), was sinking into the river.

After being reported on the incident, the Danang Municipal Firefighting and Rescue Police Department quickly deployed dozens of officers, a high speed boat and two pumps to the scene.
After hours of efforts, the police force has successfully lifted the vessel’s cabin and deck out of the water. Rescue works are still under way.
Vessel BKS DN 90266 has a capacity of 400CV, tonnage of 50 tons. The cause of the incident is under investigation.
