As reported, the storm along with whirlwinds blew off 800 houses’ roofs in Thuy Thanh commune (Huong Thuy town, Thua Thien Hue province).

Since the storm hit Thuy Thanh commune, the communal police, in coordination with other local forces and local authorities, have joint the local people in overcoming the consequences. They cleared up uprooted plants and repaired damaged houses for policy beneficiary families, old-aged and disabled people to help them soon stabilize their lives.
According to Mr. Nguyen Mau Hoa, Vice Chairman of the Thuy Thanh Communal People's Committee, local policemen have helped 80% of the total 797 seriously damaged households in the commune .

Leaders of the Thua Thien Hue provincial police said that Typhoon Noul caused four deaths, completely destroyed ten houses, and damaged 21,283 houses and 20 schools. The provincial police forces are joining other agencies, organizations, and local authorities to support local people to overcome the consequences.
* In Da Nang city, although the storm did not directly hit the city, but it caused a torrential downpour and triggered sea waves that shipped a huge amount of rubbish ashore.
In that situation, youths of the Da Nang City Mobile Police Battalion, together with staff members of the Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Tourist Beach Management Board, the Song Bien Environment Company and hundreds of volunteer youths, collected tons of duckweed and rubbish on the beach along Da Nang city, restoring a clean and beautiful environment to the tourist attraction.
