Police officers to have warm Tet holiday in new houses

PSNews – The Public Security Newspaper in collaboration with Anh Khoa Seafood Import-Export Company LTD. on 21 January presented Comradeship Houses to 2 needy police officers of the Ca Mau Provincial Police.

The houses were handed on the eve of the lunar New Year festival, bringing great pleasures for the two police officers in Ward 6, Ca Mau City and Nguyen Phich Commune, U Minh District of the Ca Mau Province.

The hand-over ceremony was attended by Senior Colonel Bui Van Quyen, Deputy Director of the Ca Mau Provincial Police; Tran Trung Lap, Deputy General Director of Anh Khoa Company; Captain Nguyen Van Binh, deputy head of the Public Security Newspaper Rep-office in HCM City and leaders from local police units.

The police officers, who were provided with the new houses, were Captain Huynh Minh Tang, officer of the detention house under the Ca Mau Municipal Police, and Lieutenant Kim Minh Khai, officer of the U Minh District’s Security Squad. They live in an extremely poor condition.

The event was one of the Public Security Newspaper’s activities to mark the 70th anniversary of its first issue.

The Public Security Newspaper have so far mobilized many generous organizations and individuals to build more than 100 charity houses with total value of over 5 billion VND, for policy beneficiary Vietnamese families and poor public security officers with housing difficulties.

The charity houses, according to Captain Nguyen Van Binh, deputy head of the Public Security Newspaper Rep-office in HCM City, were built to encourage public security officers in a timely manner to successfullyl fulfill their tasks.
