Professional training course for the Mobile Police Battalion closed in Hanoi

PSnews – After 3 months of hard training, the Mobile Police Regiment under the Hanoi Municipal Police on December 29 held a ceremony to close the professional training course for the Police Task-Force Battalion.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Me, Chief of the Mobile Police Regiment of the Hanoi Municipal Police, said the training course was held to provide officers and soldiers with professional knowledge and skills, contributing to fulfilling their tasks in maintaining political security and social order and safety in the city;

The training course also aimed to raise officers’ and soldiers’ awareness of the building of an elite mobile police force, Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Me added.

At the ceremony, the Chief of the Mobile Police Regiment also revealed that, over the past years, the unit has built a good training plan and held many professional training courses for the force.

Prior to the Tet holiday, crimes and social evils, including smuggling, illegal gambling, illegal transportation of firecrackers, tend to increase, which requires the police force, especially the mobile police regiment, to work harder.

Therefore, the mobile police force collaborates closely with other local police units to reinforce their guard in all entertainment places and crowded areas to maintain social security and order. The force also deploys many patrol teams from early morning to lately evening, ready to collaborate with other relevant forces to handle possible public disturbances, thefts, traffic violations and illegal motor-races, Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Me added.

 At the ceremony, representatives of the Hanoi Mobile Police Regiment Party Committee also highlighted the key tasks, aiming to effectively coordinate with the forces in ensuring security and order.
