Promoting security ties with Israel

PSNews-Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, Minister of Public Security received a working delegation of the Ministry of Defense of Israel led by Brigadier General Mishel Ben-Baruch, Director of the Foreign Relations Department.

At the reception of Mr. Mishel Ben-Baruch, Minister To Lam expressed his delight at the fine outcomes and comprehensive developments of the bilateral cooperation and friendship between the two countries in general and between the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) of Vietnam and competent agencies of Israel in particular. He also stressed that the MPS of Vietnam always appreciates cooperation with Israel. 

The visit by the Israeli delegation would mark an important development in enhancing and expanding cooperation in terms of security, contributing to deepening the sound friendship between Vietnam and Israel, said the Vietnamese Minister.

He also proposed both sides to further exchange information and experience in prevention and suppression of transnational and organized crime, terrorism, cyber crime and cyber war; coordinate in protecting representative offices, investment projects and enterprises, and citizens of one country in the other as well as  resolving issues related to security and safety of representative offices, investment projects and enterprises, and citizens of one country living, visiting, doing business or studying in the other.

Mr. Mishel Ben-Baruch expressed his pleasure over his first working visit to Vietnam and thanked the MPS of Vietnam for the warm reception and sentiment. He hoped that bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries would further see sound developments in various aspects, contributing to the protection national security, social order and safety of each country, and for the interests of the two people.
