Public Security Arts Festival of Region 5 officially opens
The Ministry of Public Security on June 16 held a ceremony in Ca Mau Province to open the 11th People's Public Security Arts Festival of Region 5.

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security, attended and delivered an opening speech at the ceremony. The event also saw the presence of Mr. Than Duc Huong, Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People’s Committee.
The festival, themed “75 Years of Faith”, takes place from June 16 to 19 with the participation of nearly 500 officers and soldiers from 18 art troupes from public security units, agencies of Region 3, including An Giang, Bac Lieu, Ben Tre, Hau Giang...

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh emphasized that, the arts festival was organized in celebration of the Party Congresses at all levels and the 13th National Party Congress as well as 130th President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday, the 75th anniversary of the National Independence Day, the 75th Traditional Day of the People’s Public Security Forces and the 15th “All people protecting national security” Festive Day.
The Deputy Minister hoped, typical and meaningful art performances praising the efforts and achievements of public security officers and soldiers in serving the people and protecting the national security will entertain the audience, and that the 11th Public Security Arts Festival of Region 5 will end up with success.
