Public Security Central Party Committee reviews implementation of Politburo’s Directive No. 35
The Public Security Central Party Committee (PSCPC) held a meeting on November 30 to review the implementation of Directive No. 35-CT/TW of the Politburo (Directive 35) on the organization of Party congresses of public security agencies and units at all levels in preparation for the 13th National Party Congress.

Over the past time, the PSCPC has strictly implemented Directive 35 and other instructions of the Party Central Committees on Party congresses of all levels. Particularly, it has directed Party organizations of all public security agencies and units to hold their congresses as well as successfully organized the 7th Public Security Party Congress in line with the directions of the Politburo.

The Party congresses became important political activities in the entire Public Security Forces while the 7th Public Security Party Congress served as an exemplar as Party Secretary-General and State President Nguyen Phu Trong had requested.
Implementing Directive 35, the PSCPC and Party committees of all public security agencies and units at all levels also led the Public Security Forces to ensure security and safety for Party congresses of other ministries, sectors and localities.

To conclude the meeting, Minister To Lam emphasized that the PSCPC has drawn valuable lessons from the successful organization of Party congresses of all public security agencies and units at all levels over the past time.
The Minister suggested that, in the time to come, allpublic security Party committees should quickly complete and publish the documents their Party congresses as well as assign tasks to members of the Party committees in accordance with the approved personnel plans.
At the meeting, the PSCPC and the Ministry of Public Security awarded Certificates of Merit to 102 units and 229 individuals with excellent achievements in implementing Directive 35.
