Public Security Department of Technical Services reviews task performance in 2020

PSNews - The Public Security Department of Technical Services held a meeting on December 12 to review the technical services sector’s task performance in 2020 and rolls out its working plan for next year.

Reports at the event read that, in 2020, the Public Security Department of Technical Services has led the sector to successfully complete its missions and the requests for technical assistance from other public security units and agencies, facilitating the entire Public Security Forces’ implementation of the missions of firmly protecting national security, detecting and combating crimes.

At the 76th National Public Security Conference, the unit was honored as "Excellent unit in the emulation movement for national security in 2020" with an emulation flag from the Ministry of Public Security.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam praised the efforts and achievements made by the department as well as the whole public security technical service sector in 2020.

The Deputy Minister asked the department to seriously implement the directions of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Public Security at the 76th National Public Security Conference as well as the resolutions of the Public Security Central Party Committee on the tasks of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety, and building the People's Public Security Forces in 2021 and the future years.

Under the authority of the State President, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam awards the Third-class “Feat of Arms” Order to the department.

It was urged to coordinate with other forces to ensure absolute security and safety for the upcoming 13th National Party Congress and other important political events of the country.

The department should attach importance to building its force and Party organization, comprehensively training its officers, soldiers, and workers, and promoting international cooperation to meet the requirements of scientific and technological development contributing to national security protection in the current context, the Deputy Minister asked.

At the meeting, under the authority of the State President, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam awarded the Third-class “Feat of Arms” Order to the department and the Second-class Fatherland Protection Order to its Division 5.
