Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security, Head of the Subcommittee for Security and Order of the 15th National Assembly, chaired the meeting.

The event also saw the presence of Mr. Tran Tuan Hinh, Director of the Bureau of National Defense and Security under the National Assembly Office.
At the meeting, Major General To An Xo, Chief of the Ministry of Public Security’s Office, Deputy Head of the Subcommittee briefed delegates on the results of ensuring security and order for the upcoming National Assembly election.
Since the Chairwoman of the National Assembly issued the Resolution on the Election Day (May 23, 2021), the Subcommittee has developed and implemented plans and directives on ensuring absolute security and safety for the election. At the moment, all preparations for the National Assembly election have been made.
At the meeting, delegates discussed difficulties as well as the solutions to fulfill the important tasks regarding security and safety for the National Assembly election.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang asked members of the Subcommittee and the whole public security agencies and units to urgently deploy plans and forces to ensure a safe environment for voters across country to exercise their citizenships at the election.
