Generally, the security and social order situation at all voting places was maintained during the election day while the ballot boxes were all safeguarded by the assigned public security teams. Police on duty at voting places also supported disabled and old-aged voters to exercise their voting right.
In addition to firmly protecting security of the election, the Public Security Forces actively participated in preventing and controlling the Covid-19 epidemic. During the election day, a large number of policemen were deployed to anti-pandemic checkpoints, quarantine zones, and border areas to prevent the spread of the disease in the community.

In concentrated quarantine zones, all quarantined people could cast their votes thanks to the great effort of authorities and close coordination of relevant forces, including the local police force.
The Public Security Forces also coordinated with the local Election Commissions, military units and the health sector to implement the pandemic prevention and control measures and protected the transportation of the ballot boxes into and out of the quarantine zones in accordance with the laws.
The police forces also created the most favorable conditions for inmates in custody or temporary detention who still have their citizenships to perform their right to vote on the election day.
