Public Security Newspaper opens repoffice in Central Highlands

PSNews – The Public Security Newspaper (PSN) on December 16 held a solemn ceremony to open a new representative office in the Central Highlands, Vietnam.

The new representative office, which is located at 61 Le Thanh Tong street, Buon Ma Thuot city, has become the fifth of this kind of the Public Security Newspaper.

The office will facilitate operations of the newspaper’s officials and reporters in the Central Highlands provinces, and will serve as a bridge connecting the newspaper and its readers in the Central Highlands.

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Pham Van Mien, Editor in Chief of the Public Security Newspaper (PSN) thanked the Central Public Security Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security and the General Department of Politics of the Public Security Forces for their sound and timely guidance and instructions to the newspaper as well as expressed gratitude to the Central Highlands Steering Committee, local Party committees and authorities for their effective cooperation and support for the newspaper over the past years.

According to Major General Pham Van Mien, the PSN has well collaborated with other units in the Central Highlands for many years in information, education and orientation of the public opinion. It has also participated actively in struggles against hostile forces’ plots and attempts to sabotage the Vietnamese revolution, contributing to socio-economic development of the Central Highlands.

The Public Security Newspaper now has 6 publications, namely the daily, the weekly and the monthly, and online editions in Vietnamese and English.
