Public Security Newspaper supports the fight against COVID-19 in Ha Giang

PSNews- The Public Security Newspaper under the Ministry of Public Security together with kind donors on April 27 handed over necessities and facemasks to the public security officers working in the fight against the COVID-19 epidemic in Dong Van, Ha Giang province.

The Public Security Newspaper's representatives handed over necessities and facemasks to the public security officers in Dong Van, Ha Giang province.

The gifts include 70 boxes of instant noodles and other necessities worth 20 million VND, donated by officers and staff members of the Public Security Newspaper.

On the occasion, several kind donors, accompanying with the newspaper, offered 2,500 medical masks, 100 cloth masks, 50 antiseptic hand-wash bottles and other stuffs to the on-duty police officers in Dong Van district, Ha Giang province.

Since Dong Van district witnessed the first case of COVID-19 infection, patient 268, the Dong Van District Police Station under the Ha Giang Provincial Department, in coordination with functional forces, has deployed officers to work around the clock at various checkpoints, contributing to preventing the spread of the virus in the local community.

The unit also assigned officers to take professional measures to grasp the situation and prevent crimes in the locality.

Earlier, on April 21, officers and reporters of the Public Security Newspaper presented the Dong Van District Police Station 2,000 medical facemasks and other necessities.
