Public Security forces deployed to secure success of APEC Economic Leaders' Week 2017

Senior Colonel Dao Vinh Thang, Head of the Hanoi Municipal Traffic Police Sub-Department said, although the APEC Economic Leaders' Week will take place from November 6th to 11th in Da Nang, the Hanoi Traffic Police have been assigned to coordinate with the local police force to escort 7 international delegations so it is important to practice traffic safety plans before the events.

Under the guidance of the Department of Traffic Police, the Hanoi Traffic Police will deploy approximately 100 traffic police officers and soldiers, more than 10 cars and many motorcycles to serve high-ranking international delegations in Da Nang.

Senior Colonel Thang also said that all protection plans have been drawn up a month before the APEC Economic Leaders' Week. Therefore, all participating forces should also be called to the designated places early to be ready for the assigned tasks.

Same day, the Can Tho Municipal Police held a conference to deploy its plan to ensure traffic safety and social order during the APEC Economic Leaders' Week 2017.

Accordingly, during the APEC Economic Leaders' Week 2017, the Can Tho Police will mobilize and deploy its forces, vehicles and professional technical equipment to minimize traffic accidents and traffic congestions in the city and prevent and effectively handle unexpected incidents and illegal motor races.
