Public education program on anti-drug and anti-school violence targets students in Binh Phuoc

Nearly 100 students and teachers at the Nguyen Khuyen Secondary School and Youth Union members in Duong 10 Commune attended the event.
At the event, local police officers provided participants with information about their work of drug prevention and fight, the law on children, and legal regulations on handling school violence and child abuse, as well as measures to prevent and identify school violence and child abuse.
The program aimed to raise local students, teachers and Youth Union members’ awareness of prevention and fight against illicit drug, school violence and child abuse, thereby ensuring a safe and healthy school environment for students.
On this occasion, the Division for building “All people protecting national security” movement under the Binh Phuoc Provincial Police Department and the Chon Thanh District Police Station in collaboration with the Chon Thanh Education and Training Office and the People’s Committee of Quang Minh District held a public education program on prevention of school violence, child abuse and firecracker use for local primary school students.
A working mission of the Binh Phuoc police also handed over 200 leaflets and posters to the Office of Education and Training of Chon Thanh District on prevention of school violence, child abuse and ensuring food safety and hygiene for local teachers and students.
