Public security health sector reviews task performance

Deputy Minister of Public Security, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son on January 12 presided over a meeting of the Public Security health sector to review the healthcare services for the Public Security Forces in 2020 and roll out new plans for 2021.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son applauded the efforts and achievements of the public security hospitals and medical facilities over the past time.

He also highlighted that the Public Security Central Party Committee and leaders of the Public Security Force at all levels always attached great importance to healthcare of the police officers.

The public security health sector is expected to face more challenges in 2021 amid the complicated development of the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, all public security hospitals and infirmaries under the MPS should always follow developments of the pandemic and strictly implement measures to prevent the spread of the pandemic in all public security agencies and units, especially the units with high risk of infection.

The deputy minister also asked the Public Security Department of Health to coordinate with the MPS Office and relevant units to promptly develop and complete the roadmap on building the public security health sector by 2030.
