Public security medical workers honored by Bac Giang People’s Committee

Last month amid the outbreak of COVID-19 in Bac Giang, the 198 Hospital and the Hospital of Traditional Medicine under the Ministry of Public Security deployed their doctors and nurses to the province in support of the local efforts to fight COVID-19.
To replace the first medical working delegation, the two public security hospitals also sent the second medical mission to Bac Giang.
The event saw the presence of Mr. Nghiem Xuan Huong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, Senior Colonel Nguyen Quoc Toan, Director of the Provincial Police Department, Mr. Tu Quoc Hieu, Director of the Provincial Health Department, and Senior Colonel Hoang Thanh Tuyen, Director of 198 Hospital.
Earlier on May 27, 168 doctors and nurses from the 198 Hospital and the Hospital of Traditional Medicine under the Ministry of Public Security were deployed to Bac Giang to run field hospital No.2 in the province.
Over the past month, the public security medical workers tried their best to overcome all difficulties and fulfil their duties, joining hands with local authorities and people in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
The pandemic in Bac Giang has been basically under control and the medical workers have accomplished their missions. It is time for them to come back home.
The Ministry of Public Security has just deployed 121 other medical workers to Bac Giang to replace the first public security medical delegation.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Nghiem Xuan Huong expressed the gratitude of the Bac Giang authorities and people to the public security medical workers for their precious and timely support.
On this occasion 168 medical workers were honored with the Certificate of Merit presented by the Chairman of Bac Giang Provincial People’s Committee.
