Quang Ngai Police’s Youths actively join Voluntary Saturday program

PSNews – Many youths of the Quang Ngai Provincial Police Department actively participated in the voluntary program “Voluntary Saturday” to help people complete administrative procedures through the last weekend.

From the early morning, a working group of the Nghia Hanh District Police, Quang Ngai Province started their journey to Hanh Tin Tay Commune to help local people deal with administrative procedures.

According to Colonel Nguyen Thanh Long, Head of the Nghia Hanh District Police Station, the local police has implemented the program “Voluntary Saturday” for a long time, contributing to the State administrative reform.

Within the program, young police officers and soldiers of the Nghia Hanh Police will work overtime on Saturdays to help local people, especially those residing in remote areas. The program has issued ID cards for over 2,000 people.

During the program, the district police also answered inquiries of people and explain the locals about administrative procedures for motorbike registration and residence registration.

The “Voluntary Saturday” program is also implemented by the Mo Duc District Police. Since the beginning of 2020, the local police have frequently organized the program to handle the administrative procedures for local people, while disseminating information about the COVID-19 epidemic prevention and fight.

Mr. Dinh Van Be, Chairman of the Duc Phong Commune People's Committee, Mo Duc District, said that, through the voluntary program, the young policemen showed their dynamism, enthusiasm and vanguard spirit. 

This program has also contributed to enhancing the people’s trust in the Public Security Forces.
