Quang Tri Police build road for locals in "revolutionary homeland"

PSNews - The Quang Tri Provincial Police on June 8 held a ceremony to break ground for a rural road in Nhan Bieu 3 village, Trieu Thuong commune, Trieu Phong district, Quang Tri province.

The Quang Tri Provincial Police on June 8 held a ceremony to break ground for a rural road in Nhan Bieu 3 village, Trieu Thuong commune, Trieu Phong district, Quang Tri province.

The road's building is part of the social activities of the Quang Tri Provincial Police Department ahead of the 30th aniversary of the re-establishment of Quang Tri province (1989-2019).

The rural road, whose cost is funded by all officers of the Quang Tri Provincial Police, is 500m long, will benefit more than 245 households in the area.

Senior Colonel Tran Duc Viet, Director of the Quang Tri Provincial Police Department urged units in charge of building the road to complete the road in 7 days.

Nhan Bieu 3 village, Trieu Thuong commune, Trieu Phong district is considered as one of the "revolutionary homelands" of Quang Tri province. The locality is home to 17 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, 66 martyrs, including nearly 10 People's Public Security martyrs, and hundreds of wounded soldiers, policy beneficiaries.
