Quang Tri provincial police hold Party Congress

PSNews – The Party organization of the Quang Tri provincial police organized its Party Congress for the term of 2020-2025 on August 24. Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security attended and delivered speech at the congress.

At the congress, a representatives of the Quang Tri provincial police department briefed delegates on the department's work over the past term. As reported, the Party organization of the provincial police actively advised the Provincial Party Committee and People’s Committee on policies and plans to mobilize the concerted strength of the political system to protect national security and maintain social order and safety.

It also directed the provincial police forces to successfully implement the last term Party Congress’s resolution. As a result, the local political security situation was stable, while the Party building and force building gained important outcomes.

Additionally, the Party organization of the provincial police focused on administrative and judicial reforms, coordinated with relevant forces to promote the movement of “All people protect national security”.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh applauded the efforts and achievements gained by the Party organization of the provincial police in the previous term.

He instructed the Party organization of Quang Tri provincial police to seriously carry out guidelines and policies of the Politburo, the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat, the Public Security Central Party Committee and the provincial Party Committee on Party building as well as on ensuring national security and social order, enhancing efficiency of state management of security, order, prevention and combat against crimes and social evils.

In the coming time, it was requested to direct all local police forces to prevent and combat the COVID-19 pandemic and protect the Party Congresses at all levels and political events.
