Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, Deputy Minister of Public Security (MPS) attended the conference. He hoped that local religious dignitaries and followers would uphold the spirit of "patriotism", follow the principles "The religion - the nation - the socialism" and "Peaceful religious parish” while actively coordinating with the People's Public Security Forces in solving complicated security issues in their localities, and encouraging religious followers to comply with the laws.
