Scientific workshop on inspection sector of public security held

The Ministry of Public Security held the scientific workshop “50 years of building and development of the public security inspection sector” (May 28, 1967-2017).
On May 28, 1967, Minister of Public Security Tran Quoc Hoan signed Decision No.295/QD-BCA to establish the Public Security Inspectorate Agency.
Over the past 50 years, the organization of the Public Security Inspectorate Board has been improved and developed, contributing to building a clean and strong public security force.
At the workshop, delegates shared opinions and valuable documents on the process of formation and development of the Public Security Inspectorate Board, confirming its position, role, functions and tasks.
Speaking at the workshop, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh recognized and highly appreciated efforts of the organizing board of the event and opinions of delegates.
He directly asked the Ministerial Public Security Inspectorate Agency and the Public Security Magazine to summarize outcomes of the workshop with the aim of briefing the Central Public Security Party Committee and leaders of the Public Security Ministry.
In addition, these two units should cooperate with other relevant units under the Government Inspectorate, public security schools and local police units to analyze and study topics in depth.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh also instructed the Public Security Newspaper, the portal of the Public Security Ministry and the Public Security Broadcasting Center to release good reports of the workshop, aiming to introduce positive experiences of the public security inspectorate sector to the public.
