Son La Police Department promotes ties with police of Lao provinces

Representatives from the the Vietnamese and Lao local-level police review the protection of security and public order along the shared borderline since the beginning of the year as well as exchanged experience in prevention and combat of crimes, particularly preventing drug-related crime and human trafficking, and maintaining border security.

They also discussed approach to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their cooperation in crime prevention and combat.

At the meeting, Representatives of the Son La Provincial Police Department (Vietnam) and the police agencies of the two Lao provinces signed the meeting’s records, which include directions for their coordination and missions in 2020.
