Son La Police conduct information program on drug prevention and fighting

At the event, Long Luong residents were briefed on the local situation and results of the task of ensuring security and order in the province, as well as on the inter-household self-managed model to maintain social security and order at the grassroots level.

Local people were also provided with information about harms of drugs, watched documentaries about the building of people’s security posture and ensuring security and order at the grassroots level, and watched short plays on building the inter-household self-managed model on security and order.

Speaking at the event, Major General Dang Hoang Da, Deputy Director of the Department of National Security Protection Movement under the Ministry of Public Security highly appreciated the positive results of the fight against drug-related crimes in Son La Province in general and Long Luong Commune, Van Ho District in particular.

He also urged Son La police forces to continue to effectively implement solutions to build the people’s security posture and to build the movement “All people protecting national security and preventing drug abuse, contributing to ensuring public security and order in the province.
