Southwest Mobile Police Regiment celebrates its establishment with impressive performances

PSNews - The Southwest Mobile Police Regiment on January 5 celebrated its 16th founding anniversary (December 30th 2001-2017) with a beautiful live show performed  by its police officers and soldiers.

Over the past 16 years, the Southwest Mobile Police Regiment has actively exchanged information with relevant forces to grasp the situation and draw up combat plans; conducted patrols and checks in locality to ensure political security, social safety and order,  participated in investing and solving serious criminal cases, and in dealing with consequences of natural disasters and rescue in the locality.

Besides, the Southwest Mobile Police Regiment has organized public legal dissemination drives and mobilized local people to actively participate in the movement "All people protecting national security", supported local people in their production, and regularly offered gifts to policy beneficiary families.

The Regiment also renovated synchronously and comprehensively all aspects of their work, seriously observed the public security discipline and regulations. 

Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant General Pham Quoc Cuong, Commander of the Mobile Police Command asked the Party Committee of the Southwest Mobile Police Regiment to thoroughly grasp the security and order situation of the border areas, closely watch activities of criminals and reactionary organizations, and at the same time well perform mass mobilization work by increasing field operations and supporting people in remote areas. The unit should also meet financial, logistic and technical requirements for both regular an unexpected tasks.

Within the framework of the ceremony, the Southwest Mobile Police Regiment also organized some activities to celebrate its founding anniversary including the contest  "Excellent police kitchen", military unarmed regulations competition and martial art show.
