Southwest Mobile Police Regiment launches training program 2019

PSNews – The Southwest Mobile Police Regiment on March 8th held a ceremony to kick off its training program in 2019. After the event, the member units of Emulation Grouping 8 under the High Command of Mobile Police also signed the mutual emulation agreement “For National Security” in 2019. 

In recent years, the Southwest Mobile Police Regiment has actively coordinated with other forces to exchange information and grasp the local situation to draw up operational plans to firmly protect security and safety for important events of the Party and State organized in the Southwest region.

The Regiment regularly conducted patrols and checks in its designated localities, contributing to maintaining local political security and social order and safety while participating in large criminal cases and natural disaster relief and rescue.

Speaking at the event, Major General Nguyen Thanh Banh, Deputy Commander of the Mobile Police praised the achievements of police officers and soldiers of the Southwest Mobile Police Regiment in the past years.

He also urged the unit to continue grasping and well implementing the Resolutions of the Central Party Committee of Public Security, the Directives of the Minister of Public Security on the key tasks and working methods of the public security forces in 2019 as well as the Circulars and Regulations of the Ministry of Public Security and the High Command of Mobile Police on training work.

The unit should also closely follow the slogan “Active in improving individual fitness, tactics and skills to contribute to the unit’s achievements” while continuously raising the quality of training and field exercises in order to enhance the unit’s strength and combat capacity.

On same day, at Southwest Mobile Police Regiment, the four member units of Emulation Grouping 8, namely the Southwest Mobile Police Regiment, the Southeast Mobile Police Regiment, the Southeastern Ho Chi Minh City Police Regiment, and

Special Task Force Battalion No.2 signed the mutual emulation agreement “For National Security” in 2019.
