Students of People's Armed Police College active in donating blood

• Doctors found “Living blood bank”
• 800 blood units donated by Hanoi policemen
• “Red Sunday” – voluntary blood donation campaign launched in Hanoi
• Officers and students of People's Police School 5 active in donating blood

At the event, the participating volunteers were provided with free health check-ups and blood tests by doctors of Hospital 19-8 and Vietnam-Germany Hospital.

The participants at the event  were also granted a certificate of voluntary blood donation, gifts and travel costs.

According to organizers, 1,073 units of blood had been collected by the end of the day.

Over the past many years, voluntary blood donation has become a significant annual social activity of the People's Armed Police College, in which officers, teachers, workers and students at the school voluntarily donate their blood for treatment of Public Security officers and patients in need of blood at hospitals.
