Students of People's Security Academy practice shooting

PSNews–In pistol shooting, target shooting within 3s is a basic lesson that any students of the People's Security Academy must learn hard to do good jobs in their future careers. 

Entering 2nd year, students ofthe People's Security Academy start studying military martial art. May students especially female ones are worried about the subject due to the difficulty and danger in using guns and knives. "I was so scared of holding gun at first", Luu Thi Linh (class B21-D47) recalled her experience 3 months ago. 

Before real shooting, students practice holding brick. This will help student get used to holding a heavy object while stabilizing the line of sight. 

Pistol and AK shooting skills are crucial for every policeman, which requires strict observation of the disciplines during practices. 
Students often have to practice very hard in the 100m AK shooting lesson.

In pistol shooting, students must practice with various assumed scenarios. This photo features part of combat skills, using up terrains and objects to chase and arrest a target.

"Maneuver in shooting is very difficult. It requires both physic strength and agility. Students do not have serious injuries but their arms and legs are often bruised", Nguyen Trong Ly, class B21-D47 said.
The 7s hidden and 3s appearing target shooting lesson requires students to highly concentrate and have good shooting techniques to hit the target within its 3s appearance.

According to Colonel Le ManhCuong, deputy head ofthe Military Material Art Subject, the purpose of this subject is to train the fighting technique and tactics for student. 

This is an "straight stabbing" move often used in practice when policemen use bare hands to fight criminals with knives or pointed objects.

After 3 months practicing physical fitness, material art and shooting under the hot weather of Hanoi in August and September orrainy weather, at the moment, students of class Law B31-D47 are ready to use guns to suppress crime, protecting national security and social order.
