Thua Thien Hue Police reviews 10 years of implementation of the MPS’s Directive No.3
At the conference, Senior Colonel Nguyen Truong Son, Deputy Director of the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police Department briefed delegates on the results of the 10-year implementation of the Ministry of Public Security’s Directive No.3 on “Building a comprehensively strong district-level police force to successfully fulfill the task of ensuring public order and security in the new situation” in locality.

Currently, the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police Department has completed the posting of officers and soldiers to all district-level police stations in line with the new organizational model prescribed by the Ministry of Public Security (MPS). The Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police Department also advised the Thua Thien Hue Provincial People’s Committee to launch a project to deploy professional police officers to communal police posts.
Under the project, the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police Department has deployed 160 professional police officers to communal police posts. So far, 100% communes of the province have been staffed with professional police officers.

Especially, the district police force actively advise local authorities to effectively deal with public order and security issues, mobilized local people to participate in the “All people participating in protecting national security” movement and campaigns against crimes. District police stations in the province also implemented various measures to step up administrative reforms to improve the quality and efficiency of their administrative services, significantly contributing to local socio-economic development.
On this occasion, the Director of the Thua Thien Hue Police Department awarded Certificates of Merit to 3 organizations and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing Directive No.3 of the MPS.
