Tra Vinh armed forces review coordination in 2020

PSNews – The Police Department, the Military Command and the Border Guard Command of Tra Vinh Province held a conference on December 11 to review their cooperation in protecting national security, ensuring social safety and order, and fighting against crimes as well as consolidating national defense in the province.

Reports at the conference read that, in 2020, the local police, military and border guard forces have regularly coordinated in grasping the situation while actively exchanging information related to the protection of sovereignty and national security, social order and safety, and prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The three local armed forces have also coordinated in mobilizing people to develop local socio basis and economy, and strengthen national defense and security. At the same time, they enhanced information dissemination on crime prevention and fight.

The forces also implemented synchronous measures to prevent crimes and defeat conspiracies of hostile forces.

At the conference, participants also pointed out limitation, gave forecasts of the situation, and proposed solutions to enhance the coordination among the three forces in the upcoming time.

On this occasion, 12 organizations and 24 individuals were awarded for their outstanding achievements in the cooperation.
