Traditional house of the Can Tho Municipal Police inaugurated

PSNews - After 3 months of restoration, the traditional house has been completed, thanks to the responsibility, enthusiasm of leaders and citizens of Can Tho city.

The Can Tho Municipal Police inaugurated its traditional house on March 4th with the aims of commemorating the dedication to the Fatherland of the "Suicide Squad".

The ceremony drew the participation of Can Tho city's leaders, especially relatives of the heroic martyrs suicide the past “Suicide Squad”.

After 3 months of restoration, the traditional house has been completed, thanks to the responsibility, enthusiasm of leaders and citizens of Can Tho city.

This place has marked many historic victories of the Can Tho Municipal Police in the Le Binh battle in particular and of the Vietnam Public Security Forces in the war against French colonialists in general.

The Can Tho Municipal's People Committee ranked this traditional house as a city-level historical and cultural relic on June 6th, 2006.

In addition, the traditional house also exhibits photos and artifacts of generations of the Can Tho police force in the periods of war, and building and protecting our nation.

Speaking at the ceremony, Senior Colonel Tran Ngoc Hanh, Director of the Can Tho Municipal Police stressed that: "In the coming time, the Can Tho Municipal Police and relevant units will collect more and preserve valuable pictures and documents of the force, so that visitors can understand and respect our glorious history.
