The students have now become more aware of promoting internal solidarity and following regulations as well as stronger in both physical and mental terms.
During the course, they overcame various difficulties, trained hard and learnt sufficient knowledge and skills, so they are now ready to study their professional subjects at the public security educational institutions in the coming time.
Apart from heavy training sessions, the students also participated in sport and cultural activities and field trips.
Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh hailed the efforts of the MPHC and the Professional Police Training Centre I as well as the trainees during the training course.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh emphasized that sending newly-enrolled students to the MPHC’s units for basic training is an appropriate policy of the MPS in the context that the education and training sector of the Public Security Forces is undergoing a fundamental and comprehensive reform.
This is the first time the MPS has organized such a basic training course for all first-year students from the public security educational institutions at the MPHC. The Deputy Minister suggested that students should continue to drill in the learnt skills when studying at their schools.
The Deputy Minister asked the Department of Training and Education, the MPHC and the public security educational institutions to soon make a general report on the basic training course so as to develop an official training curriculum for the following years.
