Training course opens for health officers of Cambodia Ministry of Interior

PSNews - Hospital 30-4 of the Ministry of Public Security on January 3 held a ceremony to open the 2nd professional training course of 2017 for health officers of the Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Cambodia.  

The opening ceremony witnessed the presence of Lieutenant General Ksor Nham, Deputy Director of the General Department for Logistics and Techniques under the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security; General Chea Nareth, Director of the Health Department under the Cambodian Ministry of Interior.\

At the event, Lieutenant General Ksor Nham extended best wishes to leaders of the Health Department under the Cambodian Ministry of Interior and the doctors and nurses participating in the training course. 

He affirmed that doctors of Hospital 30-4 with their many-year experience, expertise and enthusiasm would successfully organize the training course and provide knowledge of modern medicine and pass valuable practical healthcare experiences to the Cambodian health officers. 

He also hoped that the trainees will successfully apply the acquired knowledge and skills into their mission of caring for Cambodian people’s health.

Acccording to Major General Tong Manh Chinh, Director of Hospital 30-4, the training course will focus on skills of health examination and monitoring, and techniques in eye treatment.

This 3-month training course has enrolled in 10 Cambodian doctors and nurses.

On behalf of the Health Department under the Ministry of Interior of Cambodia, General Chea Nareth thanked Lieutenant General Ksor Nham. He highly appreciated the results of the previous training courses.

He also said that Hospital 30-4 had recently donated money and many important medical devices and equipment to the Emergency Room of Hospital 16-5 of the Cambodian Ministry of Interior.

General Chea Nareth affirmed that the supports had meant a lot to Hospital 16-5, and this contributed to strengthening the friendship between the two countries.

General Chea Nareth also extended sincere thanks to the Party, the State, the Government and the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam as well as the Directorate of Hospital 30-4 for creating favorable conditions for the Cambodian groups to study and improve their medical expertise in order to better serve the healthcare sector of Cambodia.
