University of Fire Prevention and Fighting celebrates Vietnamese Teachers' Day
PSNews - The University of Fire Prevention and Fighting (UFPF) held a ceremony on November 18th to celebrate the Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20th).

The ceremony saw the participation of Major General, Ass. Prof. Do Ngoc Can, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics; Major General Nguyen Van Chuyen, Deputy Director of the General Department of Logistics and Techniques as well as representatives of relevant units.
Senior Lieutenant General, Prof. To Lam, Politburo member, Minister of Public Security and Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh, Bui Van Thanh sent congratulations flowers.
At the ceremony, Major General, Ass. Prof. Nguyen Manh Ha stated that over the past 40 years of establishment and development, lecturers, officers and soldiers of UFPF has always followed and promoted traditional character of Vietnamese teachers, contributing much to educating and training fire police and rescue force of the country.
In the 2015 - 2016 academic year, 3 lecturers of UFPF were honored as ministerial level best lecturers. In addition, 8 lecturers won the second and third prize in a ministerial contest for lecturers of the public security schools in 2016.
In particular, Senior Colonel Dong Xuan Tho, an officer of UFPF was entitled by State Council for Professor Tile to Professor. This is the first Professor of the fire fighting police force in Vietnam. To date, UFPF has 1 Professor, 5 Associate Professors, 40 Doctors and 130 Masters.
At the ceremony, Major General, Ass. Prof. Do Ngoc Can presented flowers to meritorious teachers who either retired or still work at the university. Major General, Ass. Prof. Nguyen Manh Ha, Rector of UFPF also gave flowers to the newly entitled Professor and Associate Professors as well as outstanding lecturers of UFPF.
