Vice Minister Nguyen Van Son works with influential people in Cao Bang

PSNews-Deputy Minister of Public Security Nguyen Van Son received and held talks with a delegation of outstanding individuals in the movement “All People Protecting National Security” of Cao Bang province on December 22 in Hanoi.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son expressed his delight at meeting the delegation, wishing that the visit of the Cao Bang delegation would be of great success.

At the meeting, the delegation of outstanding representatives in the movement “All People Protecting National Security” briefed the Deputy Minister on the situations of local socio-economic development, protection of security and order, and articulated the aspirations of various ethnic minority groups in Cao Bang as well as proposed ideas and suggestions to the leadership of the MPS on approaches to enhancing effectiveness of the movement in the locality.

The delegates also pledged to bring the role of local village patriarchs, heads and respected individuals in ethnic minority communities into full play to mobilize and encourage various ethnic minorities in Cao Bang to follow and well implement guidelines and policies of the Party, and seriously observe State laws, actively participate in maintaining national security and social order and building the great national unity bloc, for stable political security, social safety and order in the border province of Cao Bang.

The Deputy Minister also recognized and praised contributions and important roles of charismatic individuals in accelerating poverty reduction, building cultural and civilized lifestyles and promoting the local unity bloc as well as in the protection of security and order and peace in Cao Bang.

He also hoped that local prestigious persons and local ethnic minority leaders would increase information dissemination, and mobilize all people to follow policies of the Party, laws of the State.
