Vietnam - Australia boost cooperation in combating crime

PSNews - "Vietnam appreciates all supports which Australia has been providing for it over the past time, in building and developing the country", Minister To Lam said. 

Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, Politburo member, Minister of Public Security had a meeting with Mr. Troy Grant, Minister for Justice and Police, Minister for the Arts and Minister for Racing of Australia's New South Wales state on December 13th, in Sydney, Australia.

Minister Troy Grant welcomed and highly valued the ongoing visit of Minister of Public Security To Lam and the high-ranking Vietnamese Public Security delegation. He affirmed that Mr. To Lam's visit will reinforce strategic trust, strengthen comprehensive cooperation between the two countries, contributing to ensuring national interest and security, social order of each country.

Minister To Lam and Vietnamese the high-ranking delegation visiting the Australian Coast Guard Maritime Academy

On the occasion of the 100-year founding anniversary of the New South Wales women police force, Minister To Lam extended congratulations and highly appreciated the dedications of the New South Wales women police force to the country. 

At the meeting, the two sides agreed to expand the bilateral cooperation on the sharing and verification of criminal information, the extradition of wanted persons, and investigation of transnational organised crimes, especially drug crime, human trafficking, and hi-tech crime.

On the same day, Minister To Lam and Vietnamese the high-ranking delegation visited the Australian Coast Guard Maritime Academy.
