Vietnam – Hungary agree to strengthen ties

At the reception, Ambassador Ory Csaba was pleased to inform the Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Public Security of the signing of a framework agreement on credit cooperation between the Vietnamese and Hungarian Governments.
Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam then expressed delight at the agreement, saying the signing has marked a milestone in the two countries’ diplomatic activities, contributing to strengthening traditional friendship between Vietnam and Hungary in general and between the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and Hungarian law enforcement agencies in particular.

The Vietnamese Deputy Minister stressed the ministry wants to promote cooperation with the Hungarian Government in many fields, under the inked agreements, including electronic citizen ID granting project; projects of protecting and handling natural disasters, and responding to climate change; information technology and network security; and healthcare.
Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam also hoped that Mr. Ory Csaba, in his position, will do his best to promote cooperation between the two countries in general and between the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and Hungarian law enforcement agencies in particular.
Ambassador Ory Csaba, for his part, thanked Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam for the reception.
He then pledged to do his best to contribute to deepening bilateral relations and friendship between the two countries and between Hungarian law enforcement agencies and the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security in accordance with the process of building a strategic partnership between Vietnam and Hungary in the future.
