Vietnam Ministry of Public Security and Cambodia Ministry of Interior holds high-level talk

PSNews - A high level delegation of the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security led by Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security and a high level delegation of the Cambodian Ministry of Interior led by State Secretary Em Saman have held a talk and signed the minutes of meeting on the deployment of the Cooperation Plan of 2017 between the two ministries.

At the talk, which happened on February 17th in Phnom Penh, the two sides exchanged views on world and regional situations and other issues of mutual concern; focused on evaluating outcomes of cooperation between the two ministries over the past time; worked out a specific program to implement effectively the Cooperation Plan in 2017 between the two ministries.

The plan was signed in Hanoi on January 9th in order to ensure security, order and safety of each country, and to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Cambodia diplomatic relations will be organized in 2017.

The talk occurred in a sincere and open atmosphere, and in spirit of solitary and friendship. After the talk, the two sides signed the minutes of meeting.

Earlier, on February 16th within the framework of the visit to Cambodia, the high level delegation of the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security met Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sar Kheng; offered incense and laid flowery wreaths at the Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Monument; and worked with the Vietnamese Embassy in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
