Vietnam – UK ties promoted

PSNews-Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, Deputy Minister of Public Security received Mr. Giles Lever, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom to Vietnam.

Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam expressed his pleasure over the fine outcomes of the Vietnam-UK Strategic Partnership in the fields of politics, economics and culture. Additionally, the cooperation between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the law enforcement agencies of the UK has been strengthened and deepened, bringing about good results.

He also suggested that in the time to come, the two sides should improve the efficiency in the areas of cooperation, especially in combating transnational crime, terrorism, human and wildlife trafficking.

the two sides agreed to exchange information and experience, establish cooperation mechanisms in combating crimes, and make favorable conditions for people of the two nations living, working and studying in the other country.

The UK Ambassador thanked the host for the kind reception and said that he would try his best to contribute to developing the bilateral ties and friendship between the two nations and between the MPS of Vietnam and law enforcement agencies of the UK.
