Vietnam’s local police present medical supplies to Northern provinces of Laos
A delegation of the Provincial Police Department of Son La transferred medical supplies and equipment to Northern Lao provinces on April 21, backing their effort in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The delegation, led by Senior Colonel Vi Quyen Chu, Vice Director of the Son La Provincial Police Department, presented the medical supplies to Lao’s Houaphan, Louangphabang and Bokeo provinces.
This included 3,000 fabric face masks and 6,000 antibacterial face masks, 60 infrared thermometers to measure body temperature, and 150 disinfectant gel bottles, worth some 200 million Dongs in total.
The medical equipment and supplies will support the armed forces of the Northern Lao provinces working on the frontline of the fight against COVID-19.
This also promotes the traditional relationship and friendship between the police forces of the Vietnamese province of Son La and Northern provinces of Laos.
