The Vinh Long Provincial Police’s Traffic Police Division, accordingly, will further cooperation with relevant units in checking vehicle drivers and strictly handling cases of drunk driving.
Within the framework of the campaign, the Traffic Police Division of the Vinh Long Provincial Police coordinated with relevant units to use world standard’s breath alcohol concentration calculators to check drivers and punish those whose alcohol levels exceed the limit in Vinh Long city’s roads.
According to Colonel Ho Van Ut Anh, head of the Traffic Police Division of the Vinh Long Provincial Police, during December 18’s night, a patrol team of the division stopped dozens of cars to check and handled 11 drivers with their alcohol levels exceeding the limit.
Colonel Ho Van Ut Anh said the campaign will run until the end of 2019 Lunar New Year Holidays.
