Voters agree on nomination of Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To as candidate for NA election

The People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nhan Chinh ward (Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi) on April 1 held a conference for local voters to comment on Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security as a candidate for the 15th National Assembly (NA).

At the conference, voters residing in the Nam Thang Long 1 residential area (Nhan Chinh ward) shared the same view that Tran Quoc To was a senior official at the Ministry of Public Security with firm political position and good morals. 

The candidate and his family always follow the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws, and local regulations. Deputy Minister To has experienced various leadership positions at all levels. He is an exemplary citizen and Party member who keeps close relations with the local Party Committee, authorities, and people.

Voters of the Nam Thang Long 1 residential area affirmed Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To meets the qualifications for deputies of 15th NA, and believed that he will make positive contributions to the NA's renovation and the country's development if he is elected to be  a deputy to the 15th NA.

Speaking at the event, Deputy To expressed his honor to be a candidate for the election of the 15thNA in the 2021-2026 tenure. Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To also thanked the local voters for their trust in him.

He promised to make utmost efforts to fulfill the duties of a people’s representative if he is elected to the 15th NA, saying he would convey voters’ questions and concerns to the NA, the Government, and relevant agencies.

As a member of the Party Central Committee and the Deputy Minister of Public Security, Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To affirmed that, together with the Ministry of Public Security’s leadership, he would continue to advise the Party, the NA and the Government on guidelines, policies and measures to ensure security and order for the country's socio-economic development and the people's peaceful and happy life.
