PSNews - The General Department of Politics of the Public Security Forces on March 15 held a ceremony to honor winners of the writing contest on Ho Chi Minh’s thought on the Public Security Forces (PFS) in celebration of 70 years of the PSF studying and following Uncle Ho's Six Teachings.

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Bui Minh Giam, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics stressed that the writing contest on Ho Chi Minh’ thought on the PSF was an important and practical activity in the chain of activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Uncle Ho’s sending the 6 teachings to the Public Security Forces (March 11, 1948-2018), and 70th anniversary of Uncle Ho’s Call for Patriotic Emulation (June 11, 1948-2018).

The contest aimed to help police officers and soldiers acquire a deeper insight into the content, meaning and the importance of the movement “Studying and following Uncle's Six Teachings to the PSF”, especially how to learn and apply Ho Chi Minh's thought on the role of the people in maintaining security and order, and Ho Chi Minh's thought on the personnel and organization work of the PSF.

Since the Ministry of Public Security launched the contest, many public security officers and soldiers within the units under the General Department have actively responded to and participated in the contest, which has showed their deep concern and enthusiasm toward Ho Chi Minh's thought.

At the closing ceremony, the organizers awarded certificates of merit to 3 organizations and 10 individuals with excellent written pieces.
