Women contribute significantly to successes of the Department for Information and Communications

The event saw the presence of Major General Mai Van Ha, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Department for Information and Communications, along with leaders of its subordinate units and over 300 members of the Women's Union chapter of the Department.
At the event, Senior Colonel Dang Lan Dung, Deputy Director of the Department for Information and Communications reported delegates on the establishment of the new structure of the Women's Union chapter of the Department, as well as on key working results in 2018, and rolled out working plans for 2019.

In 2018, the Standing Committees of the Women Union chapters of the Department for Information and Communication's affiliated units, namely the Public Security Newspaper, the Public Security Publishing House, and the Center for Radio, Television and Film of the Public Security Forces, closely followed the working plan of the Women's Union of the higher level, and organized many practical and meaningful activities, contributing to helping their members fulfill their political tasks.
In 2018, the Women Union chapter of the Department for Information and Communications honorably received a Certificate of Merit from the Vietnam Women's Union while 11 individuals of the organization were also awarded Certificates of Merit from the Women's Union of Public Security.
Speaking at the event, Major General Mai Van Ha praised the achievements of the Department's Women Union chapter in the past year, affirming that it was the fruitful results of the hard work and innovations of all members of the Women Union chapter.
On behalf of the leadership of the Department, Major General Ha congratulated all members of the Women's Union chapter on the International Women's Day, and extended his gratitude to all the women at the unit, who have always been united and enthusiastic at work for the development of the Department.
At the event, the organizing board also handed Certificates of Merit presented by the President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union to the Women's Union chapter of the Department for Information and Communications, and Certificates of Merit presented by the Women's Union of Public Security to excellent individuals.
