According to Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Police's Youth Union Chapter, Captain Le Van Thang, the campaign attracted the participation of hundreds of young police officers and local people.
During the drive, the young police officers donated 120 million VND to the building of a house of compassion and helped repair two homes for poor and policy beneficiary households in the province. They also presented scholarships to 4 students from poor families.
The young police officers also visited and presented gifts to more than 500 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers policy beneficiary families, and students in a difficult state in the province.
Several social activities were also held in Bac Tra My district and Tam Hai commune, Nui Thanh district. According to Captain Le Van Thang, the local police also held a contest on drug-related crimes prevention and fighting for local people.
