Young policemen of Kien Giang active in voluntary activities

The Youth Union Chapters of the Provincial Police Department of Kien Giang, An Bien district and Ha Tien city organized the “Green Journey” voluntary program 2020.

The organizers presented 20 gifts, worth VND 1 million each, to policy beneficiaries and needy households in Tien Hai commune, Ha Tien city, and 15 scholarships to poor students with good academic records.
They also presented 300 national flags to local fishermen to encourage them to go fishing at high sea, contributing to affirming the country’s sovereignty over the national seas and islands.
The young policemen also took the chance to explain laws to local people and students, distributed some 2,000 leaflets on traffic order and safety.
They also joined hands with local youths and military troops to clean up rural roads.
